SuneKos

  • Winner of the Safety in Beauty Innovation and Pioneering award 2019, SuneKos is a non-surgical treatment comprising of a unique combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids which triggers a skin regeneration process called dermal biogenesis.

Whilst deeply hydrating and plumping the skin, clinical trials have shown that the Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can activate bio-revitalisation from within your skin which results in plumper, smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin. SuneKos combines this HA with a special combination of amino acids which directly stimulates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) fibroblasts which in turn rebuilds the living layer of your skin, called the dermis.

There are two types of SuneKos; SuneKos 200 and SuneKos 1200. SuneKos 200 is used to treat around the eyes, face, neck, chest and hands and is perfect for earlier signs of ageing. SuneKos 1200 is used in conjunction with SuneKos 200 if your skin needs extra structural support to improve sagging skin or if you have deeper, more advanced wrinkles. Your specific requirements will be assessed and discussed with you prior to the treatment.

This is a four-part treatment; each session is had 7 to 10 days apart. Each of the four sessions is an important part of the treatment process and your entire treatment will not be complete until the session is completed.

Indications that this treatment may be right for you:

You are noticing lines and wrinkles.

    You have skin crepiness.

You have skin that is lacking in elasticity.

Your skin is thin and lacks volume and plumpness.

You have dehydrated, sun damaged skin.

You would like to prevent early signs of skin ageing.

  • Sunekos deeply hydrates and plumps the treated tissue, this leads to ‘dermal biogenesis’. This results in a reduction in the severity of your wrinkles, hydration to both the superficial and deep layers of your skin, a desirable volumizing effect and a dramatic boost to your elastin and collagen.

  • Sunekos uses a combination of Hyaluronic Acid and amino acids, the injections help by thickening the skin and stimulating the elastin. Especially effective in areas such as beneath the eyes to reduce dark circles, eye bags and hollow eyes.

Profhilo uses 100% Hyaluronic Acid and is injected just below the skin’s surface which disperses quickly meaning there is no need for massage of the area post treatment to get rid of lumps or nodules. Hydration of the skin is improved, fine lines can disappear and the skin is tighter and smoother than before.

  • Each Sunekos treatment take 20 to 30 mins to administer.

  • You may start to see improvement in skin hydration 10 days after the first treatment. A full Sunekos treatment consists of 3 injection sessions, each approximately 10 to 14 days apart.

  • Clinical trials of Sunekos have shown that hyaluronic acid products on their own can cause bio revitalisation in the skin, stimulating fibroblasts, but the addition of the amino acids is like adding extra fuel to a fire, their presence stimulates and directly targets the ECM fibroblasts which is important when it comes to rebuilding the dermal layers of the skin.

Participants in trials reported improvements in wrinkles, skin plumpness and hydration, as well as a lifting effect.

  • You’ll start to see the benefits of Sunekos as soon as 7 – 14 days after treatment, which will improve over time. The results usually peak at three months

  • Sunekos treatment lasts generally for six months. Everyone is different and it depending on area you have treated, your lifestyle and your metabolic rate; these factors usually influence the longevity of your results.

The guidelines are to have one maintenance treatment four to seven months after your full treatment.
