Polynucleotides are genetic strands taken from salmon fish which are injected as a clear liquid for aesthetic purposes to regenerate the skin. Polynucleotide treatment improves the skin quality on a cellular level and can be used to hydrate the skin, treat dark under-eye circles, treat fine lines around the eyes and lips, rejuvenate scars or improve overall texture to give skin a healthy glow.

You can have your first polynucleotide treatment on the day of your initial consultation or you can book a treatment for a time of your convenience. Depending on your needs you will require 2-3 Polynucleotide Treatments each 2-4 weeks apart.

Polynucleotides (PN) is a very thin water-like substance which improves skin quality whereas traditional under eye filler/Tear Trough filler is hyaluronic acid which is a much more viscous substance and is designed to fill hollows under eyes.

The Polynucleotide treatment can be performed with either a cannula or a needle. Recovery from needle takes longer than from cannula due to the appearance of blebs on the skin. Recovery from polynucleotide treatment with needle 1-2 days. Recovery from polynucleotide treatment with cannula is typically 12- 24 hours.

In most cases, the results last between 8-12 months.
